YOGA FOR A HEALTHY BACK

4-week classes starting in November 2019


Do you suffer from chronic lower back pain? In just 4 sessions you can learn gentle, safe practices to protect your back for a lifetime of ease.


WHO
  • No yoga experience necessary
  • Not appropriate for acute conditions or intense pain. Doctor’s clearance for gentle exercise.
  • Two Options:
    • ✴Saturday morning classes - Require getting onto mat on the floor.
    • ✴Tuesday morning classes - Chair yoga.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • In each class we will master a few simple exercises to practice at home. Each class will review and build on previous lessons.
  • Handout materials will support your learning.
  • Class is small to allow for individual attention and questions.
  • The approach is very conservative recognizing that there are many conditions that lead to lower back pain.

WHERE
Barefoot Space Yoga Studio at the Four Corners, 395 Kenwood Ave, in Delmar.

WHEN
  • Chair Yoga Class - Tuesday mornings
    10:00 - 11:15 AM, November 5 - 26
  • Mat Yoga Class - Saturday mornings
    10:00-11:15AM, November 9, 16, 23, and December 7. (No class on November 30).
